The Space Invader Questions Why

 Denial #3

Suppose you wrote the Space Invaders game:

Your code makes each invader shifts one step to the side per second. When the row of invaders reaches the edge of the screen, the row moves down and the invaders change direction.

The invaders on the lower rows are more likely to be hit first by the player. The invaders further up are better protected.

Say you have improved on the game and added in lots of AI. The invaders have the ability to ask questions. The invaders are now asking you, "Why is the speed only one step per second?" They want to move faster to avoid the bullets from the player. The invaders on the bottom row are also asking you, the creator, why did you put them on the bottom row? They say it is not fair for them to be on the bottom row and be hit first.

As the game creator, wouldn't you consider the questions outrageous and funny?

The creatures you have created are not your competitors. The players of the game might be. The creatures are in a different realm from you. It is totally illogical for the creatures you created to be asking you about your motives. To put it bluntly, they have no speaking right.

Whether you created a game, a cell, or a virus, it is simplify nonsensical for the created to question the motives of the creator, no matter how intelligent or inquisitive the created may be.

At this time, you may not believe you were created by some other being. But when told God created you, how often have you questioned why God did things this way or that? Have you used your inability to understand God's reasons to reject that a God could possibly have created you? Do you deny?
